Happy FriYAY: Falling For Color
I was browsing some home decor for fall last night, and I found myself feeling a little overwhelmed by the creams and beiges and browns.
So I wondered if maybe I just never realized that fall colors tend to be creamier and more muted?
Then I spotted this blanket at Anthro(pologie) and I remembered, fall is actually a really colorful time of year. (Or at least it is if you don’t live in Southern California where we barely have seasons.)
These earthy, dusky tones are a sign of the transition between summer and winter, and ignoring them by going all in on creams and browns ignores what makes this season so special.
So I’m celebrating the start of fall with a round up of my favorite fall pieces, especially the ones that will bring the colors of the season into our homes.
